In this exclusive JPOD The Beat Chef interview you’ll find out about his approach to writing music and some interesting production tips from him.
JPOD also discusses his approach to live performances as well as his musical influences and his thoughts on the current glitch hop / glitch funk scene.
If you are not familiar with JPOD, he is a phenomenal music producer from Kelowna in British Columbia, Canada.
His style of music is highly unique – originating from glitch hop and glitch funk, he has become known for fusing these styles of electronic dance music with other genres of music including swing, folk, grunge and other styles you wouldn’t normally hear fused together with glitch hop.
I saw him DJ recently and the amount of energy he generated in the club – without playing dark, aggressive music, was a real breath of fresh air!
