I’m excited to present to you this exclusive interview with John Schmulowitz, AKA Prismatic.
Prismatic’s music spans multiple styles from glitch hop to dubstep to electro house to drum and bass and beyond. He refers to his music as ‘journey music’, because he aims to take you to another place with each track he releases.
John has seen great success in the last year with many great releases on a wide range of labels, and no signs of slowing down through 2014.

Announcing The Upcoming BassGorilla Tutorial Series By Prismatic
If you love Prismatic’s music and you also make electronic music yourself, you will be excited to know that John is currently working on a tutorial video series that will be available as an online course exclusively at BassGorilla.com. We expect the course to be on sale at some time in July or August of this year (2014).
The course will be walking you through how to remix a track from start to finish, and this is a track that John is currently working on for another producer. The course will be taught in Logic Pro 9, John’s main DAW of choice, but the techniques can easily be applied to other DAWs.
The track John is making for this remix is an electro house style track (although the genre could change at any moment!)
