You know that feeling when you hear a producer’s music and it blows your mind? That’s how I felt when I first discovered the sounds of James Leggett, AKA JIKES, from Ohio, USA. Being a huge fan of music from producers like XILENT, Seven Lions, Prismatic, Fractal and Au5, I was stoked to discover another producer who is able to make music of that calibre.
JIKES has been hard at work over the last couple of years forming his own soulful take on dubstep, drum and bass, glitch hop and even hip hop. He works closely with a female vocalist named Nori, whose heavenly voice can be heard in most of his productions, often with a large amount of intricate vocal glitches which JIKES painstakingly puts great pride into producing.
